We’re BaaaAAAck! Uncle Betty’s Diner, 2590 Yonge
No new posts in a long while. So sorry to all of our millions of dedicated readers. We are still alive and kicking and eating out, but just took a small sabbatical from writing about it. Please forgive.
A new restaurant opened in our neighborhood a short time ago - the name, colors, and logo piqued our interest. Baby blue, orange, brown & white with a mustachio’d nose to top it off. Cute, diner-esque, and fun. The name comes from the owner’s mother, Betty, whose free spirit earned her the nickname.
My partner in crime (and other dirty deeds) tried one of their “famous” Dreesen donuts they were curbside sampling a few weeks back. Checking out the menu, she knew it was a place we had to visit.
